This is just a VERY EARLY STAGE mockup to show how one large article can be partitioned into multiple standalone pages while also retaining ease of navigation through categories.
For the initial test, I’m using the content from the https://online.uj.ac.za/accounting-organisations-and-designations/ article along with additional research and links that I collected that weren’t appropriate for the UJ site. I’m also adjusting it a bit so that internal links and links to partners are quite prominent and generally appear above the read more link, while other external links mostly appear below the read more. In this way the category pages act as their own pages but are made up of the intros of all the posts in that category.
The idea is to also include other qualifications from other institutions to be a comprehensive resource, but to link their courses through the very legit, but very user unfriendly SAQA certificates rather than their websites. This way the list is comprehensive, but doesn’t feed SEO juice or people to our competitors.
For the courses offered by partners, we will pack in multiple links and CTAs.
Once the structure has been worked out, I will set up how this can be done for management degrees and public health and nursing degrees (of which we have much more to offer than for accounting)
I will also add in a menu set up a blog page for all the AI generated content (as was the original plan that Sthembiso’s proposed).
More to come….
